mon oeil

"All French people wear onion strings round their neck". "My Foot"!

Whilst in English, we use the phrase 'my foot' if we don't believe someone or something, the French use a different body part, 'Mon Oeil'. The phrase can also be used to mean 'no way'.

French people will actually pull down (gently!) the bottom lid of one eye (or point to it)as a gesture scepticism without having to say “Mon œil”.
